How To Send Confirmation Email

Confirmation emails are short and simple emails sent out to registered users and customers to inform them of their standing with your company.

It is relatively easy to send confirmation emails with Pie Forms. So without further ado, let’s get into it.

Install and Activate

The first step is to install and activate the Pie Forms plugin. Check out How to install Pie forms to understand the method better.

Editing the Contact Form

First, click on the Pie Forms option from the sidebar of the WordPress dashboard and click on All Forms.

Then create a new form or edit an existing one. Click on the Edit button for the form you want to add a confirmation email to.

Setting Up Confirmation Email

When the Pie Forms editor opens, click on the Form Settings option from the editor.

Go to the User Email Settings option and click on it. Click on the Enable user email option from the drag-down that appears. Your email won’t be sent out if the checkbox isn’t filled.

Designing Your Confirmation Email

Now, all you have to do is fill in the details for your confirmation email. Pie Forms allows you to fully customize the emails as per your requirements.

Firstly, use the {user_email} smart tag to write the user’s email address in the User Email Column.

Next, write the name you want the emails to be sent out from, whether the company name or the admins’ name, in the From Name option.

Fill in the From Address column by using the {admin_email} smart to write the email address from which the emails will be sent.

Write the subject of your emails in the User Email Subject option.

Write the message you want to send out to your clients and customers in the User Email Message option. You can also add images, links, dates, codes, and tags through the built-in options given.

After you have designed your confirmation email, click on the Save button at the top of the page to save and activate your confirmation email.

This is it. Now you can quickly send and manage confirmation emails with the help of Pie forms. We hope this article was helpful to you. Feel free to contact us if you have any queries!
