So the question arises, how to create broadcast emails? This tutorial will explain how to quickly generate broadcast emails using the Broadcast Email add-on by Pie Forms.
How To Create And Use Broadcast Emails
1. Installation and Activation
- Before we get started, make sure to download and activate the Pie Forms plugin on your WordPress Admin Dashboard. You can check our guide on How to install and activate Pie Forms.
- Next, download the Broadcast Email Add-on by logging into your Genetech Store account. If you are still using Pie Forms Basic, upgrade to PRO or buy the add-on separately.
- From the WordPress dashboard, click on the Add New plugin option.
- Click on the Upload Plugin option and then upload the Zip file of the add-on.
- The Broadcast Email Add-on will now be listed in the list of Installed Plugins, where you can go and activate it.
2. Locating Broadcast Email
- After downloading and activating the Broadcast Email add-on, you will find it located below the Pie Forms option on the sidebar of the WordPress dashboard.
- Click on All Broadcast to see previously sent broadcast emails and design a new broadcast message from the New Broadcast tab.
3. Composing Broadcast Email
- On the Create Broadcast page, write the name of your broadcast email in the Broadcast Name column.
- Select the form users will be receiving through the broadcast mail from the Select Form column. You can choose singular or multiple forms to send the broadcast mails to.
- Write the subject of your broadcast message in the Email Subject column.
- You can compose the broadcast email message in the Email Body section.
- You can also insert links, images, videos, and audio in the message by clicking on the Add Media option, as shown in the screenshot.
- From the Select tags option, you can add smart tags in your email body to display your name, email, and a link for users to unsubscribe.

If the user clicks on unsubscribe, a message will be shown to them.
Admin can view the list of all the unsubscribed users in the entries tab under the Pie Forms tab.
- Click on the View tab to view all the previously sent broadcast emails.
4. Scheduling Broadcast Email
- You can schedule the date and time for your broadcast email to be sent in the Enter your schedule column.
- Unscheduled emails are saved as a draft for future edits.
- You can send your emails immediately after creating them or can schedule them to send it later. The scheduled emails will be shown as pending, as shown in the screenshot below.
- Click on the Submit button after you have completed writing your broadcast mail.
